Tesla Model 3 common Suspension Noise. How to repair it. DIY, Upper Control Arm replacement

Our 2018 Tesla Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor started making a noise a few weeks ago, just after the Warranty period ended. In the beginning it was a very faint noise coming from the front when going over speed bumps. The noise got louder inside over about a week or so but still you would not hear it outside. Another week passed and the noise was audible from inside and outside. It kept getting louder inside and outside over the next week or so, to the point where people would hear you coming. I traced the noise to the upper control arm on the front passenger side suspension. Talking to the Tesla Mobile Technician, he confirmed this to be a common issue on the Model 3. I ordered the part from Tesla, since it was the cheapest and for sure the latest revision. In this video I show how to replace this control arm. It is relatively easy and can be done with few tools. It took me about 1.5 hours to do. The Tesla Ranger said it could take up to 4 hours. Make sure to get a Tesla Service Manual in order to get the correct torque specs for all the bolts.
