AMAZING Kairouan & ElJem

Come along as we hit the road through Tunisia, exploring two of the country’s most fascinating spots—Kairouan and El Jem. The medina is full of charm, from handwoven carpets to beautifully tiled archways—and yes, we may have stopped every five steps for photos. We visit the Great Mosque, discover a tunnel filled with tiny shoe workshops, and—believe it or not—meet a camel on the third floor of a building. Still not sure what he’s doing up there, but he looked as confused as we were. Then it’s off to El Jem, home to one of the most impressive Roman coliseums in the world. It’s enormous, eerily quiet, and feels like a real-life movie set. We explore underground chambers, marvel at shell fossils embedded in the ancient stone walls, and soak in the surreal atmosphere.
