Interview by Ron Carrico, San Diego Air and Space Docent. Richard Kantner discusses the design of radar absorbing materials development for the A-12 and SR-71. He also discusses NARMCO and trips to Area 51 and Groom Lake for analysis of materials. Mr. Kantner worked for NARMCO the San Diego based company that designed and produced these materials which were eventually patented.
