A Most Fearful Sacrifice Solo Gameplay | US Civil War Gettysburg Wargame | Flying Pig Games | #1

We begin our full solo playthrough of A Most Fearful Sacrifice, the tabletop wargame (boardgame) from Flying Pig Games that covers the full 3 days at Gettysburg during the American Civil War. We play the first hour of The Slaughter Pen scenario. The Confederate forces launch their attack on Big Round Top and Little Round Top If you'd like to support my work, here are some ways: Join the my Patreon community:   / zillablitz   Make a purchase on Noble Knight Games with this link: https://www.nobleknight.com/?awid=1430 Buy me a coffee via Kofi: https://ko-fi.com/zillablitz A Most Fearful Sacrifice on Noble Knight Games: https://www.nobleknight.com/P/2147979... A Most Fearful Sacrifice on Flying Pig Games: https://flyingpiggames.com/shop/ols/p... A Most Fearful Sacrifice on BGG: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/3... Known Errors: 1. At 26:55, I should not have activated a division because Sickles' Corps had already been activated. I was thinking the rule was activate a division that hasn't been activated yet, but that non-activated division has to be part of a Corps that hasn't been activated yet. Thanks to Scott Beal for pointing this out. 2. At 31:45, I calculated the defensive bonus on the assault as +2 columns for an assault up a steep slope, but it's only a slope hexside, not a steep slope. The defensive bonus should have been a 1 column shift. Thanks to calciajd for pointing that out. :) 3. At 38:47, we had Robertson's brigade Rally Around the Flag, but he wasn't stacked with or adjacent to another unit from the same brigade, so he wasn't eligible to use that event card. Thanks to Eric the Mad Viking for pointing that out. :) 4. At 44:17 and again at 46:24, I calculated Robertson's Cohesion Rating as a 4, but it should have been a 3 (5 - 1 for Shaken - 1 for being without support). Both times it didn't impact combat, as a 9 on the Fire Combat Cohesion Test under the NE column would have been the same result as a 10. Thanks to Campsawyer for catching this one.
