Our route began in Bezirgan on this leg of the Lycian Way. Leaving this charming plateau, where we supposedly experienced its magnificent weather and nature, behind, we began our trek towards a majestic mountain that conceals Sarıbelen in its shadow. We had a blast on the way up, but it's hard to say whether we rolled or walked on the way down. Water might be a problem on the Gökçeören route, so we asked an old man for a market as soon as we entered the village. He said, "You'll see it when you turn that way." And we added about a kilometer to our route on the round trip. We stocked up on water in Sarıbelen, and I'm glad we did. We walked a full 18 kilometers between Bezirgan Plateau and Gökçeören. Keep in mind that there are no markets or anything else you can shop at from Sarıbelen to Çukurbağa. There's Hüseyin Bey (Yeşil Pension) in Gökçeören village. He can provide you with supplies, but let's say you need to finalize the price first before you can stay and shop. We set up our tent in a kiosk in the mosque courtyard, and there's a restroom. Don't forget to fill your water bottle at the fountain before setting off the next day.
