Solari Udine Dator 10 Flip Clock Restoration Part 1

My vintage Solari Udine Dator 10, 1950's industrial clock from Italy, just came in! It's the most famous of flip clocks: Solari is the company that invented the flip panels you used to see at airports. From an Italian seller on e-bay, it was a long and risky adventure to buy it and actually get it shipped here. It took the guy 3 month with a lot of convincing. At one point e-bay arbitration even canceled the transaction. But somehow perseverance paid of, and the clock is in good shape and eminently repairable, and a slave clock as I had correctly inferred. By the way, what I say in the video is all wrong, pulses are once a minute, the springs are fine, and the clock was made for the weird voltage of 160V, not 110V as I thought.
