My model train layout portrays the South African Railways as it used to be back in the mid 1960s to 1980s. The scene is based on the Karoo mainline between Cape Town and Johannesburg or Durban. My scenery focuses on the mainline between Beaufort-Wes and De Aar (two major Karoo depots at the time)
