Comrade Jyoti Basu(1914-2010)....the greatest Communist leader of India. Famously known as Jyoti babu, was the longest serving chief minister (23 yrs) for west bengal and its a record for any democratic system. He was the pioneer of communist movement in India. He molded the communist idealism into democracy which is itself a great achievement. Jyoti basu was among the founder of CPIM , member of 1st ever polit bureau who are famously known as NAVARATNA of CPIM. His contribution to Indian politics is great. He was the leader of the backward class of the society. On his death the whole nation is numbed and salutes this great pragmatic leader india ever had and wil ever have..we lost a great administrator a true leader a great human being.
