How I Found Hope After Being Diagnosed with an Incurable Cancer | Valarie's Multiple Myeloma Story

Valarie has always been a down-to-earth person, finding joy in her family, friends and church. But after getting severe nosebleeds, feeling extreme fatigue and unable to recover from the flu, she knew something was wrong. She was then diagnosed with multiple myeloma, an incurable cancer that begins in the bone marrow, and fear overwhelmed her. As a cancer survivor, her goal is to learn more about the disease, educate others and bring light to health inequity. She wants to use her voice for those who cannot speak up for themselves to ensure that they receive equitable access to good healthcare, clinical trials and proper treatment.
