so much of what is “cringe” is just earnest

I don’t know what level of copyright it infringes to use it as a title, but this one sentence finally gave me a way to express what I’d already felt for a long time; cringing oftentimes encapsulates the fear of being authentic. Last week had my feeling like, I can’t become what I want to become by doing what I do. I don’t know how to do something else though. That’s why I made a new video. As always, my reaction to confusion is digging deeper.
