#shamanicdrumming #ancestors #summersolstice In midsummer, when nature is drenched with light, the grasses and herbs are in full bloom and the fireflies illuminate the short nights with their glow, the country folk gathered the "solstice flowers", those herbs that can convey a lot of light and heat: Hartenau, dedicated to Belenos (Germanic Baldur), Devil's Curses or Bloodweed, which we call St. John's Wort and which absorbs so much light that, used for incense or enjoyed as tea, it is able to banish dark depression and black thoughts from the soul.
