My THYROIDECTOMY: surgery; what I learned; my advice Hey guys! Finally! I get sooo many questions about thyroidectomy so I'm posting this vlog to shed some light on what you are gonna go through should you decide to push through with your thyroidectomy. Questions such as: Was it painful? How many days was I in the hospital? Was it expensive? This will depend on your hospital of choice. Any complications? Was your voice affected after the operation? What about the scar? I honestly thought I'd be depressed about my scar but nope! Not bothered at all! The best advice I can give you.. is to watch the vlog! Hehe I hope that this vlog will somehow lessen your fears.. I am A-OKAY ALL THANKS TO MY DOCTORS. Insurance was a big help, too! So make sure you have insurance, okay? Before my thyroidectomy, I had no idea what I was gonna go through.. So maybe that's why I was crying right before the operation!
