Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread Ingredients: Dough: 1 1/4 cups (300g) fresh milk - P19.00 2 tsp (6g) instant yeast - P2.00 1/2 cup (110g) light brown or white sugar - P5.00 1 pc large egg - P7.00 1 tsp vanilla - P2.00 4 cups (500g) bread flour - P18.00 1 tsp iodized salt 1/4 (50g) of a block of butter - P10.50 1/4 cup (60g) vegetable oil 2 tbsp of fresh milk to brush on top of dough before baking Cream Cheese Filling: You can always double the measurements if you want more cream cheese on your bread 1 (225g) block of cream cheese - P65.00 1/4 cup all purpose cream - P13.00 1 tbsp condensed milk or white sugar or corn syrup or honey - P2.00 Butter Garlic Coating: 3/4 of a block of butter, melted - P30.00 1 large egg - P7.00 1 tbsp corn syrup or honey or condensed milk or sugar - P2.00 4 cloves of garlic, grated or minced - P5.00 2 tbsp dried or fresh parsley or basil - P5.00 1/4 cup scallion or dahon ng sibuyas - P10.00 (If you are using fresh parsley, omit the scallion) *Bake the dough at a preheated oven of 170⁰C for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown on top. If you're not using oven with fan on, rotate the dough in the oven after 20 mins for even baking and color. *After coating with garlic butter mixture, bake at 180⁰C for 15 to 20 minutes.until crispy on the outside. *Serve hot.
