Disassembly LDRC 18499, upgrade repair modify potential?, some 18401 info

In this video I take an LDR/C 18499 apart, at least to the point that we can evaluate it as a potential platform to build on, or not. The videos I have planned will revolve around upgrades and repairs. Some of the info applies to a 18401 as they share some common parts. I have some upgrade parts ordered that hopefully will arrive timely, but even if there are no troubles with shipping it will be a few weeks from the date of this video before they are received and I can start recording more on this little rig.
