The Bharatiya Janata Party has sent a legal notice to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, accusing him of making "false, baseless, and defamatory" allegations against the party during a conference in Srinagar on July 11, 2026. The notice was issued by J&K and Ladakh High Court lawyer Parimoksha Seth on behalf of BJP J&K President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Paul Sharma.
