Hyundai Ioniq 6 Road Trip | The Lake District EV Trail Pt 1

It's Summer Time! That means ice cream, sunshine and road trips, so it was the perfect time to hop in the new Ioniq 6, and get out and about exploring The Lake District EV Trail. We were delighted to be able to road trip this trail in this new Hyundai EV - as many of you know, we love a good road trip here at Planetauto, and when we have an EV on review, it's going to be epic! Created by The Low Carbon Lake District Programme, it's a 74 mile trail designed to get up to The Lakes, and then out and about to enjoy them. In this first part, join us as we head to the start of the trail, Junction 36 of the M6, and then head towards Windermere. We stop off at the Jetty Museum, hop on board the ferry, wended our way past Claife Viewing Station on our way to Wray Castle. We then make our way through Ambleside and Grasmere before heading to our hotel in Borrowdale for the night. The Ioniq 6 is Hyundai's latest full EV, so a road trip was just the ticket to showcase the range, how to charge it, and look at what sets this streamliner apart.
