Assemblea delegati metalmeccanici, via alle consultazioni sul contratto, poi referendum

The National Assembly of delegates from the metalworkers' unions FIM, FIOM, and UILM was held at the Seraphicum Center in Rome, attended by over 300 delegates from across Italy. The Assembly follows the signing of the draft national metalworkers' contract on November 22nd in Rome, following a four-day non-stop meeting. The Assembly, attended by the general secretaries of FIM, FIOM, and UILM, Ferdinando Uliano, Michele De Palma, and Rocco Palombella, as well as the union representatives of the three metalworkers' unions, focused on the evaluation of the draft contract reached. Now the workers have their say with a campaign of factory assemblies that will culminate in the workers' referendum to be held on February 18th, 19th, and 20th. Report by: Emanuele Ghiani
