I Made Thranduil's Crown An Elven Crown Inspired by Middle earth

I've always loved the elegance of the Elves in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, and one piece of costume design has always stood out to me above all the others... Thranduil's Crown. In this video I'll show you how I designed, laser cut, sculpted and painted my own woodland-inspired Elven crown using craft foam, foam clay, wire and a few of my favourite crafting techniques. From the first sketches through to the final cinematic woodland photos, come and join me as I attempt to recreate one of Middle-earth's most iconic pieces of Elven craftsmanship. ✨ In this build you'll see: • Designing the crown from reference images • Laser cutting the branch sections • Sculpting realistic bark with foam clay • Painting and weathering techniques • Creating metallic Elven leaves • The final cinematic woodland photo shoot If you enjoy fantasy crafts inspired by Tolkien, cosy creative projects and bringing a little bit of Middle-earth into the real world, I'd love to have you here.
