Como funciona o Voto Preferencial? 🗳️

Every election year, many of us face a problem: the useful vote, which is voting for the “least worst.” Many times, even though there is a candidate we like, we are forced to vote for another one to prevent the one we consider worse from winning. Other times, our votes in the first round are completely wasted and we have to choose between 2 that we don’t want. Why? How can we solve this? But even though it is better than a dictatorship, we still have many flaws and problems that we encounter, such as the useful vote, wasted votes and the spoiler effect. In this video we explore another way of holding elections, instant voting (also known as the ranking method). How can we ensure that no votes are wasted and at the same time have a winner that a large part of the people really like? I personally really like this method of election, as well as approval voting, and I believe that it could not only solve many of the problems we have in Brazil, but also strengthen our democracy. Imagine what the last elections could have been like with this different method?
