1983 Roundhouse Lady Anne gets a Makeover
This old lady Anne has appeared in a number of videos since 2008, but the only work on it has been to fit the missing dumb buffers, add a chuffer and adjust the timing. Well I finally decided that the thick layer of paint had to go, so she went in for a makeover. I was tempted by a weathered look, but in deference to he 'heritage' status, I exposed and polished her original brass work. In this little video you can see some of the work, but there is more on the gardenrailwayclub.com. The loco is manual and there were a few passes that were rather fast, so the final sequences are at half speed.
