Hello everyone, let's plant lemongrass together today! Lemongrass has many uses that I'm sure every home cook knows. Besides using it as a spice for dishes, I often use a few stalks of lemongrass each time I juice vegetables, and it tastes better. Now let's plant it together so we can have a big lemongrass bush and enjoy it all year round! The soil is the same as common vegetable soil; you can even use old soil, lemongrass doesn't have high demands. Lemongrass seedlings need roots to be planted. Because this soil is porous, it will likely compact and shrink later, so I planted it a bit deep. If your soil isn't porous, you should plant it shallower; this will help the lemongrass bush grow faster and thicker. I planted one plant in the center and three around it to help it grow into a large, beautiful bush quickly. You can grow lemongrass in shade or in the sun; however, in the sun, the lemongrass is more fragrant and has more essential oils. After 3 months of planting, you can use it. Lemongrass doesn't require much care; you just need to water it daily like other vegetables and wait for the harvest. No fertilizer or pesticides are needed. When adding soil to a lemongrass plant, don't just pour soil on the surface. Instead, change the pot and add soil to the bottom. This will help the lemongrass plant grow well. When harvesting lemongrass, I usually break it off close to the base. This allows new shoots to sprout later. If you use a knife or scissors to cut only the top part, the remaining part near the base will be damaged and left there, looking unsightly and taking up space. Thank you for watching this video.
