As early as the beginning of the 1960s, he competed in various hill climbs in a Lotus Cortina. He quickly switched to a Schnitzer BMW 2002, with which he also became European Hill Climb Champion. In the 1970s, he discovered his passion for the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans and started in 1971 with a Porsche 907. His success story with sports cars continued with the Porsche 962, boasting a top speed of 418 km/h, driven by Stefan Beloff. In 1986, Brun Motorsport was founded.
