Conor McEvoy (fiddle), Paddy McEvoy (piano), John McEvoy (fiddle), Fiadhna McEvoy (concertina) & Jacinta McEvoy (concertina). Co. Meath fiddle player Conor McEvoy with his musical family on receiving his TG4 Music Award in The Wexford Opera House, 2009. Conor McEvoy was very much influenced by his musical parents, his mother, concertina player Jacinta McEvoy and his father, fiddle player John McEvoy. His interest in the Sligo style of playing was very much influenced by the musical masters of the old '78 records, the likes of Michael Coleman.
