HiAll fixed my DIY BGA Rework Station BEAST – Part 2 It's Actually Working Now!

In Part 2 of the BEAST videos, I finally got the station running properly! I swapped in the Yarboly PC410 controller (borrowed from my other rework station) and the difference is night and day. Watch as the 6000W bottom heater array now follows temperature profiles accurately and reliably. I also explain why setting OUT2 to HiAll on the PC410 is so important when driving a high-power heater array like this one. OUT2 in stations like ACHI, BAUER, SCOTLE, LY is just used to turn the bottom heaters on, no control. PSoft Software takes control over this output so we can have much more reliable heating profile. Then I put the machine to the test with a real de-soldering job: removing the CELL CPU from a PS3 Slim logic board — clean lift with no pad damage. ⚠️ SAFETY DISCLAIMER This project uses 240V and over 6000W of bottom heating power.
