Patricia Sosa and Mijares join forces for the first time in a collaborative project that promises to move and surprise: "Alquimia," an album where the fusion of their voices transforms classic songs into new sonic experiences. She, capable of electrifying with her rock-infused style and touching hearts with a ballad. He, with his unmistakable baritone voice, capable of resonating deeply with his listeners. Together, they revisit a repertoire of contemporary classics from artists and groups such as Sin Bandera, Son By Four, Soda Stereo, Los Enanitos Verdes, Luis Fonsi, Alejandro Fernández, and Maná, among others. The album, impeccably produced by Oscar Mediavilla, was recorded and mixed at Media Music Recording Studios (Buenos Aires, Argentina), and Mijares' vocals were recorded at 5020 Studios (Miami). It also features the performance of a band that brings such varied and rich subtleties and atmospheres, with arrangements, keyboards and musical direction by maestro Dany Vila, with drums by Jota Morelli, basses by Joabe Araujo and Gustavo Giuliano, electric guitars by Christian Vidal, César Cirera and acoustic guitars by Oscar Mediavilla; the choral direction of Mariano Mere with his voice and the voices of Mar Mediavilla and Cynthia Gretel Martinez and Dany Vila; The Brass Ensemble of Team Sudestada (Ervin Stutz and Alejo Von der Palen) and the String Orchestra conducted by Dany Vila, convened by cellist Patricio Villarejo and featuring 15 outstanding musicians, are among the many outstanding artists participating. Each song, already considered a classic of American music, takes on a new life in this musical encounter that transcends styles and generations.
