I Visited The Greek Island Where Only 19 People Live 🇬🇷

Most visitors to Greece head for Santorini, Mykonos, or Crete. But just a few minutes by boat from Kalymnos is Telendos, a tiny island with only around 19 permanent residents during the winter. I came expecting a quiet island. Instead, I found incredible beaches, centuries-old churches, a traditional sponge diver, local musicians, visited the school with only 2 students, tried fresh local seafood, learned stories of an earthquake that changed the Aegean forever, and even stumbled into the annual St. John fire celebration completely by accident. (it's always on June 23rd) Join me as I explore one of Greece's least-visited islands, meet the people who call it home, and discover why this tiny corner of the Dodecanese might be one of the country's best-kept secrets. ❤️ Huge thanks to everyone I met in Telendos. Also, huge thanks to Yvon for letting me use her video of the local Sponge Diver's Dance from the week before I visited.
