Kriti Sanon Opens Up: Success, People Pleasing and Speaking Up

Lowkey, I found my twin! Kriti Sanon is one of the most self-aware people I’ve ever sat across from. Not because she has all the answers, but because she’s willing to question the life she’s built while still living it. What struck me throughout this conversation is how clearly she sees the invisible rules women are expected to follow. Kriti has spent most of her life in spaces where women were outnumbered... engineering classrooms, film sets, meetings where people with power decide her future while never having to question their own place in the room. And still, she kept showing up. The woman people see as confident spent years navigating the pressure to stay likable. To ask questions without seeming difficult. To be ambitious without making other people uncomfortable. But somewhere along the way, Kriti started to rewrite the rules and make decisions that served her. We teach women gratitude long before we teach them boundaries. And maybe that’s why so many women spend their lives adjusting themselves to fit into spaces that never considered them to begin with.
