At the suggestion of our friend ‪@BuckinLifeoffroad‬ , we ventured to Sheeps Bridge over the Verde River. There are two ways to get here, from Horseshoe Dam Road or Bloody Basin Road. We went up from the south on Horseshoe Dam Road. The Bridge area has an awesome swimming hole to cool off from the Arizona Heat. The dogs took advantage of the situation and took a dip in the river.
