Archbishop John C. Favalora announces his retirement
Miami Archbishop John C. Favalora, retiring at age 74, will be replaced by Bishop Thomas Wenski of Orlando, Favalora announced Tuesday, April 20, 2010 during a press conference. Wenski and Favalora appeared together at the Archdiocese headquarters in Miami Shores and then attended mass at St. Martha's. Chuck Fadely / Miami Herald Staff
