Try to Remember

Years ago, my mother and I used to listen to this weekly one-hour oldies radio show on RTHK on Saturday nights, which featured the likes of The Platters and Patsy Cline. The show always opened and closed with "Try to Remember," performed by The Brothers Four. The song quickly became one of my favourites. Somehow, in my mind, I have always "heard" a waltz hidden somewhere in this beautiful ballad. So when I arranged the song, I simply couldn't resist adding a waltz-like interlude. Hope you'll enjoy this version of the song. 昔、よく母と毎週土曜の夜に６０年代の洋楽を紹介するラジオ番組を聴いてました。その番組のテーマ曲がこの「Try to Remember」(トライトゥリメンバー)でした。歌の懐かしさを描く歌詞と優しいメロディーがとても好きです。 ふと思い出したので歌ってみました。是非聴いてやって下さい。
