Reflecting on Pregnancy (and Juggling Knives)

So much of life is coming together and changing (and I think also making sense)! While this may not be your typical "pregnancy vlog", it was the best way for me to get my thoughts out on this beautiful sunny day. Have you seen that meme that says "We're really all just houseplants. I think I'm so sophisticated until I get some sunshine and water and life is suddenly so much better."? That's a lot of what this day felt like haha. 60 degrees and sunny after the freezing cold and grey of February was much needed. I think it's hilarious how hard I was breathing during this too. Baby is slowly stealing space from my diaphragm/lungs now (it's actually worst when I lie down to go to sleep) so that has been a funny change to experience as well. My hobbies are settling more into my brain as hobbies and not something that I need to commodify, and we'll be working on a more forward facing creative project that I'm hoping can interact with the "hustle" internet space in a healthy and productive way. I've watched so many YouTube videos to help me feel just a little more prepared for this tiny human we get to meet very soon! (I know you're never REALLY prepared, but knowing more is not a bad thing in my opinion haha.) I'm excited to find the balance of caring for a brand new human and continuing to touch the world in ways that have always been important to me.
