Hatcher Pass is a scenic mountain pass that showcases the best of the Talkeetna Mountain range. There is a ton to do here from berry picking, hiking and exploring the Independence Mine. While rich in gold back in the day, Hatcher Pass is now rich in history and adventure. Many Alaskan's countlessly made sure we had this beautiful destination on our list as we explained our summer roadtrip through Alaska. We did a few hikes, including the famous Reed Lakes and that turned out to be a very dirty hike. Come join us as we explore the wonderful Hatcher Pass area and dive into what there is to do there.
