Some Things Never Leave You is about carrying the past without allowing it to become a burden — accepting that certain people, places and feelings remain part of us long after life has moved on. Set against a slow cinematic soul-blues arrangement, the recording unfolds through warm electric guitar and expressive tenor saxophone, answering one another like two sides of an unfinished conversation.
