When I sell rear shocks and front struts, I always tell my customers, "Don't forget to bleed them." And I often hear requests for advice on how to do it properly. (My personal opinion is that you should always bleed them, but is that really the right thing to do?) I decided to make a video about bleeding, but to be fair, I should also talk about shock absorbers that don't require bleeding, namely, self-bleeding shock absorbers. To do this, I took one of these shock absorbers, filled it with air, and tried to remove the air without fully bleeding it. Then I cut it apart to show how it all works. It turned out well!
