Leucemia linfatica cronica, conferme a 9 anni e dalla real life per le combo con inibitore di Bcl2

At the recently concluded annual congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Stockholm, several analyses of studies evaluating fixed-duration, chemotherapy-free therapies with Bcl-2 inhibitor-based combinations for patients with newly diagnosed chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) were presented. These analyses overall confirm and reinforce the long-term efficacy and value of these combinations, even in daily clinical practice. We discuss this in this interview with an expert, Dr. Michele Merli, of the Hematology Unit at the Fondazione IRCCS Ca' Granda of the Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan.
