As the bus slowly left the busy streets of Kolkata, I sat by the window watching the city lights fade away… and that’s when it really hit me—I was doing this alone. The overnight journey had its own charm. Quiet highways, soft lights inside the bus, and occasional stops made everything feel calm and almost cinematic. Somewhere between staying awake and falling asleep, I stopped thinking too much—and just started enjoying the journey. By early morning, I reached Siliguri 🌄 The air felt fresher, cooler, and there was already a hint of mountains in it. It was just the beginning… but it already felt special. 🎬 2.📍 Siliguri ➝ Gangtok 🚗 From Siliguri, I took a shared car 🚗 to Gangtok—and this is where the journey became unforgettable. As we started climbing up, the roads turned winding and the views completely changed. Surrounded by green mountains, with the Teesta River 🌊 flowing beside us, every moment felt unreal. Waterfalls falling from rocky cliffs, clouds drifting through the hills, and colorful prayer flags moving with the wind—every turn showed something new. The roads were narrow and a bit rough, but that just made the experience more thrilling. Finally reaching Gangtok felt like entering a different world. Calm, clean, and full of mountain vibes. I checked into Aviana Gangtok Prime 🏨 near MG Marg, and after such a long journey, the room, the comfort felt amazing. Later that evening, walking alone on MG Marg ✨, surrounded by lights and people, I had one clear thought— This wasn’t just a trip.
