Join us on an exceptional journey to historic Tabb, the jewel of Asir, once the capital of the first Saudi state. We begin our tour at the historic Tabb Mosque, an architectural masterpiece founded in 1230 AH (1890 AD) and sustained royal maintenance until the reign of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. According to Yemeni historian Lutfallah Jahaf, the mosque was a center of learning frequented by scholars and students, and today it remains a beacon of worship for the people of the region. We then move on to the palaces of Abu Nuqtat al-Mutahmi, a unique group of historic forts and palaces located 2,400 meters above sea level. These palaces, which span an area of ​​4,000 square meters, contain 49 rooms and contain ancient tombs carved into the rocky mountainside. These tombs were used to store crops and ammunition during wartime. After a 50-year absence, these palaces have revived as heritage inns and centers for selling local products.
