Two Things About English Bathrooms I Still Don't Get

Bonjour! After 10 years living in England as a foreigner, two everyday things in the English bathroom still completely defeat me. So I picked up my microphone, went onto the streets, and asked English people to finally explain them to me. I won't spoil what the two things are here, you will see them soon enough, but I will say this: one of them genuinely makes me nervous every single morning, and the other one I still cannot quite believe is real. English people kindly tried to convince me, and honestly, some of their answers nearly changed my mind. This channel is my little love letter to English culture, explained from the confused point of view of a Frenchman who fell in love with this country. If you enjoy gentle laughs about the cultural differences between England and France, you are in the right place. ⏱️ In this video: 00:00 Bonjour (and why I went to the streets) 00:33 Mystery 1: The two separate taps 01:54 Mystery 2: Carpet in the bathroom 04:37 So... who won?
