10 Modulus Beginner Tips – How the New Factory Game Actually Works

Modulus is a new factory game built around a puzzle mechanic of creating shapes out of a voxel cube. There are some familiar factory game approaches here, but also a few things that feel surprisingly different. In this video, I walk through 10 beginner tips to help you get up to speed a little faster, especially around progression, throughput, and how to approach building efficiently. We’ll cover: Why rebuilding is a normal part of the game How to prioritize experience to unlock more space What’s actually driving your production speed How cube manipulation affects throughput When to focus on research (and when not to) And a few small things that can save you time as your factory grows UPDATE: A trick for trivializing the paint economy:    • Stop Wasting Paint in Modulus   This is based on the launch version of the game (I received a key from the developer), so I’ll update the description or pinned comment if anything changes. If you’ve just started playing and want a smoother on-ramp, this should help.
