Placing the sander in a corner isn't the best idea either, as the sanding pieces are of varying sizes. The only option left is to create a mobile workstation that can be moved around the workshop. Naturally, a mobile workstation must be completely mobile, so it needs its own suction system. For this purpose, a simple vacuum cleaner will be completely upgraded and installed directly into the sander's base. The base frame is 60 x 40 x 1.5 mm profile pipe, the front frame is 20 mm beech, and all joinery is made from edged boards, so there will be a lot of joinery in this video. Decorative inserts are 10 mm plywood with engraving. The most important and most difficult part is the base tabletop. It's made from end-cut wood, measures 840 x 420 x 50 cm, and is glued through 0.8 mm thick slats. This is my first project of this kind, and I really wanted to try it and practice before my next project.
