After almost two years without playing a public stage… we're back. 🙏🏻🎶 In this video, we show you EVERYTHING that goes into a Grupo Resguardo performance in Culiacán, Sinaloa. From the soundcheck and the nerves before going on stage, to the atmosphere inside the club, the crowd's reaction, and what a night of music is like in our city these days. But this video goes far beyond a simple gig. Currently, the situation in Culiacán isn't easy, and that has greatly affected us musicians. Many shows stopped happening, many venues changed, the atmosphere isn't the same anymore, and going out to work at night has become completely different from what it used to be. After so much time away from the stage, we decided to document our return to show you the reality that musical groups in Culiacán, Sinaloa, are currently experiencing. We want to show you both the beauty of the music and the atmosphere, as well as the uncertainty, the nerves, and everything that people often don't see behind the scenes of a concert. In this video, you'll learn what a typical night in the life of a Sinaloan band is really like today, what the nightlife scene is like now, and how, little by little, music is trying to stay alive despite the difficult times our city is going through.
