Popovers don't require fermentation, but they are a type of bread, so I've used their recipe as a reference and adjusted the proportions to make them delicious as cream puffs. "Quick and Easy Snacks That Will Make You a Little Bit 'It'll Work Out'" https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/404685247X ━━━━━━━━╋ 【Recipe】Makes 4 Strong flour (cake flour is also acceptable) 25g Salt a pinch Sugar 4g Butter (oil is also acceptable) 10g Egg 1 Water 40g ・Custard Egg yolk 1 Sugar 30g Cake flour 12g Milk 150g ・Heavy cream Heavy cream (40% fat or higher recommended) 100g Sugar 5g ① Melt the butter, then add the strong flour, salt, sugar, and egg. ② Add the water and mix until smooth. Let the dough rest at room temperature. It can be baked without resting, so don't worry about the time. A guideline is 20 minutes to 1 hour. ③ [Custard] Mix egg yolks, sugar, cake flour, and milk, and heat in the microwave in two batches to make the custard. Be sure to heat until it boils in the final stage. ④ Cover the custard tightly with plastic wrap and cool rapidly. ⑤ Pour the rested batter into the mold, filling it slightly below halfway. ⑥ Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 30 minutes. Once baked, poke holes in the cake and let it cool. *Do not open the oven door or lower the temperature until the cake is finished baking.
