"Let Us Carry the Bones" Genesis 50:24-25 [24] Joseph said to his brothers, "I am about to die, but God will surely take care of you and bring you up from this land to the land which He promised on oath to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob." [25] Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, "God will surely take care of you, and you shall carry my bones up from here." The book of Genesis concludes with the will and testament of Joseph for the sons of Israel to carry up his bones to the promised land. He spoke of the coming exodus out of Egypt, and knew in faith that God's promise will be fulfilled. But what is the significance of his bones? Worship with us this Lord's day as we expound on the word of God to know what it means to keep this testimony as we enter the promised land of the kingdom of God!
