Trains at York Station Throughout June 2024

The audio of this video is not the best, apologies in advance Here is a large selection of video clips recorded at York Station throughout June 2024. A very good variety of trains seen throughout the month, with a few charters turning up including ‘The Bucket and Spade’ railtour, which I saw on its return journey from Scarborough to Crewe, as well as a private charter service which was brought in by 34046 ‘Braunton’. I was also able to see ‘The Dalesman’ Railtour which featured a WCR Class 37 & 47, and finally I saw the RailAdventure Class 43s on a railtour from Finsbury Park to Newcastle. Quite a bit of freight and light loco action was also seen on the days I visited the station, with the usual range of Class 66s and Class 69s, including 69009 ‘Western Consort’ working the 6N71 Doncaster to Tyne S.S. diagram. Other locos include a pair of Class 37s and a pair of Class 50s, and not forgetting the Network Rail NMT with the full yellow banana set. I was also able to see HST Powercars working the PLPR test train to Scarborough, though it wasn’t the full banana set, it was instead Ex LNER 43251 & Ex EMR 43274. Also seen in this film is one of the new Avanti West Coast Class 805 ‘Evero’ units, specifically, 805013 which was seen doing a few test runs from Merchant Park Sidings. As per usual, a couple of LNER 225 sets were also filmed throughout the month. The 91s seen in this film include 91111 ‘For the Fallen’, 91106, 91109 ‘Sir Bobby Robson’ & 91101 ‘Flying Scotsman’. Other than that is the usual range of passenger services by TransPennine Express, LNER, CrossCountry Grand Central and Northern.
