Airfix L.C.M Landing Craft and Sherman Tank Build Review

Hello and welcome in this weeks video, to mark the 78th anniversary of D-Day I thought I would have a go at building this Air fix LCM MK3 landing craft and M4a2 Sherman tank, duel model kit. As this is a vintage classic from Airfix,the model is in the rail way scale of 1/76th so its a little smaller than 1 72 scale normal for military aircraft. All in all this kit goes together well but a few parts show there age as this kit was originally made in the 60's.There was lots of flash and clean up to do on this model strangely though the landing craft part of this kit was in much better and shaper state than that of the Sherman tank. My only thoughts on this was that perhaps the landing craft mould has been used less than that of the Sherman on and because of that its stood up to the test of time better. Also strangely the landing crafts plastic seems harder than that of the Sherman tank to, and not sure why this is either, the grey seems a little more white than Airfixs normal offerings Over all though the kit is well worth the money, been skill level two, goes together well and is simple in its construction. If you where looking at getting this kit I would say go for it as its worth the clean up and makes into a nice model That's my Review of the LCM mk3 landing craft and Sherman tank kit from Airfix I hope you enjoy the video and found it helpful if you where looking at getting one of these kits
