Safer Spaces webinar video

This insightful panel discussion explored the impact of Safer Spaces sessions that were introduced as part of the Black Adoption Project. These sessions were designed to address the specific needs of Black staff at Adopt London, providing a psychologically safe environment where Black racialised staff can reflect, share experiences, and build resilience in both their professional and personal lives. This session will brought together Black Adopt London staff and Steering Committee members, Audrey Bouazizi and Chloe Fasan, Integrative therapist and safer spaces facilitator, Yaa Yeboah-Newton, and the project's independent evaluator, who all had insight into the Safer Spaces pilot over the past two years. Watch this webinar to hear directly from those involved as they share their learning, reflections, and insights from the evaluation of the sessions, as well as the experiences of previous attendees and technical insights from a therapeutic facilitator. The panel also explore how the Black Adoption Project is embedding key lessons from Safer Spaces into its wider work, ensuring that Black staff have the support they need to thrive.
