All the crochet stitches we're using are in US terms. Star Blanket Diameter: Lovey blanket 16" (40cm) Throw 30" (75cm) Baby blanket 36" (90cm) Child blanket 44" (110cm) Swaddle 60" (150cm) Materials needed: Crochet hook ~ recommended size is 4mm (size G) Pair of scissors Double Knit Yarn ~ recommended yarn is West Yorkshire Spinners ColourLab 100% natural wool in various colours; For the Rainbow blanket: Crimson Red, Zesty Orange, Citrus Yellow, Lime Green, Deep Teal, Aqua Green, Harbour Blue, Thistle Purple, Very Berry, and Cerise Pink Self-striping yarn: Summer Pinks, Frosty Blues, Technicolour, and Prism Brights. Pattern Notes: There's no need to worry so much about gauge as you can work up to the size you need as you grow your star blanket For my rainbow star blanket, I alternate colours every 2 rows: red, orange, yellow, lime, teal, aqua, blue, purple, berry, pink, then backwards from pink towards red. Check the size of your work from time to time, which will depend on what type of star blanket you're aiming for.
