Tinubu’s Children Tell Nigerians To Endure Hardship + Presidential Villa & MDA’s Owe N47bn|OjyOkpe

Protest rocked Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on Monday, over the rising cost of living in the country. The protesters, blocked major roads in the State Capital to express their grievances, some carrying placards with inscriptions like; ‘Open Border’, ‘End Hardship’, ‘The poor are starving’, and ‘Tinubu, don’t forget your promises’, while chanting anti-government songs. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu has called on Nigerians to have faith in his father’s administration, in the midst of the economic hardship plaguing the nation. Seyi in a post on his Instagram page on Monday, recalled president Tinubu’s statement during the country’s 63rd independence anniversary. The first daughter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, who is the Iyaloja General of Lagos State, has also called on Nigerians to be patient over the economic hardship in the country. Folashade made the plea, when she was turbaned the ‘IyaAdinni of Qadiriyyah’ in Nigeria and Africa, for her contributions towards the development of Islam, on Sunday. Folashade, whose husband’s recent appointment as the managing director of the Federal Housing Authority, has drawn criticism, among the housing sector stakeholders, assured Nigerians that her father is working to address the hardship in the land. A leaked utility bill from the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, revealed on Monday, that the Presidential Villa and 86 Federal Government’s Ministry Department and Agencies; have an outstanding debt of N47, billion Naira as of December 2023. The Distribution Company in the leaked memo, said it will disconnect electricity at the presidential villa and the MDA’s if the bills are not paid within 10days. Some of the affected MDAs include the office of the Chief of Defence Staff, the FCT Ministry, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of State Petroleum, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Education, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture. It was indeed a magical guber primary in Edo State over the weekend, as a Bishop identified as Johnbull Egomwan was captured on camera counting from 309 and then suddenly jumped to 500 in Ovia North East, which is the base of Denis Idahosa, who was declared winner of the election on February 17th by Governor Hope Uzodinma. The video has garnered several reactions as confusion as to who the real winner of the APC guber election persists. #protest #ibadan #tinubu #seyitinubu #apc #arisetv #arisenews #arise Subscribe to our Channel for high profile interviews.
