SINK OR SWIM

We are moving the cattle across our worst performing pasture following several months of rest and subsoiling. This pasture looks terrible. We are going to hit this area hard and graze this pasture down! Could it be a mistake? Very possibly. But it isn't growing the way it is, so I don't see what I have to lose. The only other option is to skip it again in our pasture rotation but following recent drought conditions I cannot afford to circle around to other pastures before they have fully recovered and create more issues. Our approach here is to Subsoil, graze utilizing tight grouped paddocks, and a good mowing of any leftover weeds that the cows don't eat. Update on the geese. Are they still scared of the pond?
