Best of British Steam: Steaming through Autumn 2019

Best of British Steam - Volume 3 Over the Autumn months this year, an enormous variety of locomotives took to the rails at preserved railways all around the south coast of Britain - and on the Mainline, demonstrating practices from numerous designers. From Riddles to Drummond, Gresley and Bulleid to Stanier and Collett, the Autumn months brought out some of the best that British Steam has to offer. Filmed at 8 different preserved railways, and on the Mainline, this video features over 40 locomotives; demonstrating the variety and diversity of the steam locomotives that have survived into preservation in Britain. As well as this, the video showcases the countless hours devoted by volunteers across the country, to keep the memory of steam alive in Britain for the future generations to enjoy.
